As the annual Arizona State Fair comes to a close this weekend, we take one last look at this year’s offerings of unique, imaginative, and food-coma inducing culinary offerings. Because a visit to the fair isn’t complete without abandoning yourself to the divine shrine of food gone absolutely wild.
Bacon, anyone?
Deep-fried coffee.
Sensory overload.
Burgers, waffle fries and speciality “dawgs”: Japanese dog, Mexican dog, Chicago dog.
The Koolcicle: A Kool-Aide infused pickle.
A state fair staple: The giant turkey leg.
Deep-fried peanut butter and jelly cheesecake on a stick with bubble gum frosting.
The donut struggle is real.
Flying corn dog.
Fair food with a twist.
“Fireball” donut.
